Chemical Reaction Engineering Laboratory The laboratory is well equipped with basic and advanced equipment in Reaction Engineering. Major equipment includes different kinds of reactors like CSTR, PFR, Reactors in series and equipment for kinetics study

Computational Lab This lab is designed to carry out modelling and simulation exercises using Scilab / GNU -Octave and houses 54 computers

Heat Transfer Operations Lab helps the students to understand the basics of heat transfer operations and systems. Some major equipment includes Different types of heat exchangers, Condensers, Forced and Natural Convection devices. Many of the equipment are fabricated in house suiting to student’s needs.

Mass Transfer Operations Laboratory is equipped with the experimental set-ups related to separation processes. The lab houses major equipment like Packed Bed Distillation Column, Fluidised Bed Dryer, Forced Draft Tray Dryer, Ion Exchange, Cooling tower, extraction equipment and so on

Mechanical Operations Lab This lab enables the students to understand the basic solid fluid operations. Major Equipment includes Sieve Shaker, Jaw Crusher, Roll Crusher, Ball Mill, Hammer Mill, Plate and Frame Filter Press

Momentum Transfer Laboratory

To enable students with hands-on operations of basic fluid flow operations, the laboratory is equipped with all fundamentally needed instruments. Most of the equipment are fabricated in house.

Major Equipment : Orificemeter, Venturimeter, Rotameter, etc., , Notches, Bernoulli’s set up, Packed and Fluidised bed studies etc.

Process Dynamics and Control Lab

This laboratory is equipped with equipment to understand the basics of control systems. Some of the equipment include liquid level systems, mixing process, Interacting – non interacting systems, U tube manometer, Control valve characteristics

R & D Facilities

This lab Houses sophisticated equipment like HPLC, GC, UV-Visible Spectrophotometer and R & D equipment like membrane units, Rotating Disc Contactor, Flooding characteristics tower etc
