B.Tech. Admissions 2025-26

The admission to first year/lateral entry B.Tech. courses in Engineering/Technology programme is done through Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC) and JoSAA.

First round admission for first year and Lateral Entry for B.Tech. by CENTAC is over. Awaited for the second round allocations...

Candidates alloted by JoSAA are requested to wait for reporting till the CSAB rounds of allocations are completed... Keep watching this space for announcement of dates for reporting...

Last date for reporting by candidates admitted in lateral entry scheme by CENTAC is 9.8.2025

☛ Allotment list from CENTAC and JoSAA/CSAB are awaited.

☛ Candidates allotted seats through CSAB and NEUT can do physical reporting on or after 20.8.2025 and secure admission and hostel accommodation in PTU

☛ The candidates who are making Partial Admission Fee (PAF) to any course opted in PTU are informed that reimbursement of fee in case of seat cancellation will be effected in the month of January, 2026 or on or after the date on which the CSAB transfers PAF to the PIs whichever is earlier.

☛ Tentative date of inauguration of first year B.Tech. classes is 22nd August, 2025.

☛ The exact date of commencement of first year B.Tech. classes will officially announced soon

Fee to be remitted as follows: 

1. CENTAC - UT of Puducherry Candidates ₹ 32,101

2. JoSAA/CSAB General Category: ₹ 1,62,401 - ₹ 72,000 (paid to JoSAA/CSAB) = ₹ 90,401 (payable at the time of admission)

3. JoSAA/CSAB SC/ST Category: ₹ 87,401 - ₹ 33,000 (paid to JoSAA/CSAB)      = ₹ 54,401 (payable at the time of admission)

4. CENTAC - Self Support (UTP and OS) General/OBC/EWS candidates:  ₹ 1,62,401

5. CENTAC - Self Support (UTP and OS) SC/ST candidates: ₹ 87,401
